Although I blogged this over at Pod Bobbins, I just wanted to share a pic of my cupcake magnets all packed up for the WLS Polymer Clay swap. Hope my partner likes.

Earlier this evening I had to make a cd mix for swapping with the theme “word association”. So my words ended up going from:
love
sex
fantasy
island
holiday
rain
umbrella
water
wet
dry
hands
finger
lips
kiss
sexy
love
hate
sad
happy
girl
boy
…what does that say about what’s on my mind?
Further to Operation Haremail, I found out who my partner is today. She’s a known scammer on some swap sites, so no bunnies for me. Emma Timney (“Accidents”) of Glasgow Scotland, you suck. You’ve ripped off a lot of good people from Swap-Bot, hope Karma finds you and kicks you in the arse.
PS. Luckily my buddy Ella sent me a great bunny themed package for a swap we did, so I do have some bunny joy.

This week I got my Operation Haremail parcel together. So my final parcel’s gone now.
I was actually surprised by the trouble I had finding rabbit items, especially at this time of year. All the bunnies I encountered were choccy or big soft toys. So I’m not satisfied with my effort for this swap, but in the interests of being on time, it’s too late to worry about it much now.
Here’s what I came up with:
There’s bunny cookie cutters, bendy bunnies, choccy bunnies, a bunny-pop, stickers, a handmade softie, and a bunny pattern pouch that I made.
I think the back of my bunny softie is cuter than the front:
I hope my partner likes it. And I hope my sending partner doesn’t flake on me!

Lately I have been busting my chops trying to send lovely swap packages out to people, and it’s always fun to receive one in return! Monday is a great day for mail, because it seems to stack up over the weekend or something at the Post Office. Today’s mail brought me some teabags from the lovely Laura in the UK (that Customs didn’t steal this time!) a copy of Vanessa’s zine, and this swap package from Amanda in the USA:
You know when you open a package, and keep unwrapping it and finding more stuff and going “Squee!”* with excitement. Well this one did it for me. A gorgeous handmade purse, handmade bracelets in my fave colour, ribbon, ultra cute notepad, little sock purse, mini scrapbook and mega cool cupcake pincushion. Thanks Amanda! Yay!
*I used to have a black and white rabbit called Squee, named because of said squee noise.

Regular Portion-ites may notice that I have put a link to Operation Haremail in the side bar. I stumbled across this swap over at Swap-bot, and for a bunny lovin’ chick like me, it’s heaven. I love rabbits. I love chocolate. Therefore I think Easter is the best holiday of the year (especially because you don’t have to go sick buying pressies for everyone and their dog too.) So I’m all excited about filling a box with bunny goodness. Biccy agrees and hopes my partner will a) come through with my package and b) include something carrot related for her and the other girls. Tammy over at Polka Dot Mittens is organising the whole thing, so if you’re a bunny lover, be in it, and if you love a good blog, read hers.
Further to bunny crafting fun, check out this blog! I may have to play along when I get the time.
