Feeding the Monster

Okay, blame Pip @ Mike’s.  And the Craftzine blog, which pointed me here which led me here.  But now I’m in a frenzy imagining all the fun stitchery to do.  To date, all my embroidery has been pressies for swap buddies, but now I’m thinking I might do a series of bags that feature retro style embriodered pockets.  I’ll have to come up with my own designs, as I can’t use the free ones from Floresita, but luckily my sketching skills aren’t too bad.  Isn’t it odd how you get this rush of excitement when you find a project or see some gorgeous new fabric?  I suppose that means I’m addicted!  Oh well, at least it won’t make me fatter, or hurt my lungs, or destroy my body! (besides carpal tunnel which I already have.)  Watch this space to see what I come up with!
