Art Every Day Month #1 – Lobster’s Revenge

So, for my 5 things lobsters, last night I stitched this handkerchief:

PS. Does anyone have any suggestions for taking decent photos of your embroidery?

I think it’s one of those designs that looks better from a distance, as all the pieces fit together and the picture is clearer.

this lobster is so fantastic!! i wish i had a lobster handkerchief now!

my only thought on the photography is to use one of those light boxes that jewelry artists sometimes use to capture their work…but other than that, i don’t know!

This is way to cute. I am always at a loss on taking pictures of my embroidery. I never like how it turns out.

I like the idea of a light box. I have heard of people using their ice chests as a light box since it is already white inside. If you figure it out let us know.

The distant picture does look better. Very cute piece too, by the way! :)
