Lookin’ out my front door

This week’s “this is…” challenge, courtesy of Brooke. So here’s the view from here. Our front door faces our neighbours’ house, and you can see our nice new fence that we put up in Jan 07…it used to be totally covered in honeysuckle, which, like the nature of Monkey, is irrepressible, and is starting to grow again. I rather like the green outlook provided by my plants, as when we moved in, there were 3 dead tree fern stumps. The Chinese Lanterns are grown from cuttings from Mum and Dad’s garden, and the Chef’s Cap Correa has gone “buresque” (to quote Lizzie Birdsworth). There’s my Rover, and a scenic view of rubbish bin which I just dumped there a couple of hours ago after bringing it inside and filling it with crap from my craft room. (It’s bin night tomorrow). The joys of suburbia.
