On Saturday I got a call from Des, who thanked me for returning his money that he’d dropped at the post office last week.  Des sounded about 80 years old and was telling me about his eye surgery and how he appreciated my honesty.  He also said he had a Tatts ticket and some choccys for me to say “thanks”.  Yesterday while I was out antique shopping with my buddy the Knitting Knut, he dropped these off to me:

HP had a chat with him and said that he was a nice old chap.  And the choccys are Darrell Lea, a yummy mix of milk and dark.  Needless to say, there’s only about half the packet left, as I gobbled a lot last night!  Happy ending.

It is so nice to know there are still nice people out there. I wanted to let you know where I found that chicken and girl vintage picture you asked about. This is that link and the second one is a great starting point to find tons of great images. Perfect for the week of french too. I would do that if I wasn’t leaving Wed. Hope you enjoy and are doing ok. Love Stacy
