Yesterday

I went to the Design Market with Ms Curly Pops, who has chronicled our day rather delighfully here.  We had lots o’fun and crafty shopping and eating goodness. Hurrah!  Thanks Cam!

But of course, what you really want to know is did I buy anything?  I told Cam my criteria was to buy things I couldn’t make myself, as some sort of justification for spending my wee dollars.

So at the end of the day I returned home with:
– fabric brooch from tu-wit-tu-woo (get a website already guys!!!)
– a cup of tea and a biscuit stud earrings from Victoria Mason
– 2 of the bestest apple and rhubarb muffins ever (one in mah belly, the other in a noodle box)
– teatowel from Third Drawer Down that I plan to staple over a canvas and hang up
– Shinzi Katoh mug
– set of Japanese rubber stamps in a lovely wooden box.

Our trip to Clegs yielded yet more cardigan wool and a couple o’ balls for an aqua scarf, and a 50’s reissue Simplicity pattern…which hopefully I’ll get my act together to make.

[I’ll take some piccys on the morrow when I have some light.]

Probably just as well Kimono House was closed…just as well for my wallet that is!
