We shall overcome

I was sick with the dreaded Lurgi all weekend, you know – the chest chunks, sinus blockage, dribbly nose, aches and pains, blah blah blah.  Feeling a bit better now, thanks to my good friend Sudafed (and lots of rest), and now poor HP has it.  Today I’m back at work and upright, although not sure how long for.  But I’m trying…not because I care about soldiering on at work or anything, but it’s Brown Owls tonight!  Remember how when you were a kid, you were too sick to go to school in the morning, but you could be well enough for Sally’s 5th birthday party later that day?

So the sensible part of me says "stay home on the couch tonight", the fun part says "brown owls, brown owls!!"  What’s a girl to do?

PS.  I’m past being contagious I might add, so no germy danger for the Brownies.

Bring sudafed along with you, we can save him a seat. What helps a cold if not cups of tea and sweet cakes and cookies. I think your cold would be offended if you didn’t bring it.
