Sashiko happy

Yep, Sharon was right, after a visit to Kimono House today, and an hour on the train stitching, I’m loving sashiko. Simple, elegant, satisfying, and pretty. I bought this kit to stitch:

I’m doing the background in variegated blue/green swirls with red fish. Yay!

    How lovely. I can’t wait to see it.

    Sometimes I think I need more 1 hour train trips to catch up on craft, reading, etc.

    I think I missed a fun day out with you girls.

    Oh wow, love this pattern! I’ve never heard of Sashiko before. Thanks so much for mentioning it. I’m always on the hunt for new patterns. :)
