I was thinking this morning is “It’s time to get this Christmas pressie thing sorted.” I know lots and lots of peeps have pledged handmade, but for my life, it’s not practical, so I haven’t joined in. So in the spirit of the concept however, I’m tossing around the idea of a:

That is, buying local, buying independent, buying handmade, buying small business, buying charity, recycling and repurposeing and obtaining all your pressies will thoughtfulness and good intent, rather than the common mall/shopping centre frenzy. This ties in from a post of mine on the film ‘What would Jesus buy?’ of about this time last year, so I think it’s a good compromise. Join in if you like.

Saffron love

Anyone that’s read any of my blogs knows that I’m not a Christmas person. However this update email from Saffron Craig was in my mailbox this morning, and I have to admit, these would be my choice for decorations this year:Go here to buy them, and here’s some fab Xmas stockings too. Ho ho ho.
