Sunday Stash

fabric, originally uploaded by drewzel.

Today’s stash piece is one that I received yesterday as a birthday pressie* from my friend Christina (the Knitting Knut). It has no information on the selvedge and feels like a sort of mock-silk polyester. It was a remnant, so I probably will make a long rectangular scarf from it, in an effort to be “stylish” and “glamorous”.

*my birthday is Dec 3, for those who asked.

Sunday Stash

Today’s stash fabric was some that I ordered from Duckcloth back in early September and then promptly forgot all about. It’s a Japanese Trefle brand heavy cotton, with happy chickens. (Of course.)

Sunday Stash

This is one of the latest additions to my stash, and probably my current favourite. Newly received last week from Retro Mummy’s shop, a very cute Japanese print with bunnies, birdies and deer. (deeries?) Apart from the cuteness I love the faded effect of the print…now, what to make with it?

Sunday Stash

I missed Mike’s week o’stash as I was holidaying, so I was happy when I saw that Tamara at Quarter of an Inch had started “Sunday Stash“. To kick things off, here’s a pile of random fat quarters, this was taken back in 2007, so goodness knows where they are now. All I know is that the tidy stack isn’t there anymore!
